Sunnies

Sunnies, or Sunrise Shells are my Favorite!! They're a treasured shell in Hawaii, and this beauty was given to me by my Auntie Mad. She got this shell and had it turned into this gorgeous necklace for me. It was made my a local artist on Kauai, Amber Lynn. I LOVE IT!!! She is super talented!

 I love it, love it!!! It's like having a piece of home with me when I wear it. I miss Kauai everyday, but am so grateful for everything that I have here in California. Hopefully I will be able to visit soon, but until then I will wear my Sunny with pride :)

Thanksgiving Crafts

Well, I'm a little late on posting this, but hey....Better Late than Never, right?

Me and the kiddos had a craft day at my sisters...Thanksgiving style. It was so fun, and the kids had a blast too :)

The kiddos made turkey's, and wrote on the tail feathers what they were thankful for.... and Miss Ali decided to be a little funny with hers....

She's a funny one I tell ya :)

I remember making these when I was a kid. :)

And my sister Ari and I had a little craft time of our own :) We made these fall garlands that we saw on A Beautiful Mess posted Here.

Now it's my turn....We are going to have Christmas Craft Day at my house :) I've been collecting ideas for both the kiddos and my sister and I.

Any suggestions?

The Monsters are coming!!!!

So this is what I've been up to lately....sewing Lil' Monsters!! :) Aren't they just the cutest??!!

These cuties are going to a super cool, hip boutique in Albuquerque, NM called Stilo Lifestyle Accessories.

Little Gifts :)

Tomorrow we are having a little baby shower at work for a co-worker. She is the cutest preggers lady you'll ever see :) She's having a little baby boy and the theme for his room is OWL's!! :)
So of course, I had to sew her a little sumthin sumthin ;)

I love being able to put love into something that I make for someone else :) I hope she likes them!!! :)

Do you prefer handmade gifts over store bought??
